It's kind of eye-opening for me to use Google institute for discovering such of ancient thing. It's a really vivid and active material for sharing with students for various using aims in their learning process. I do feel that can contribute a lot on integrating online based resources with children in classroom. It's easy to be used by everyone just in case there is a computer in a classroom, for one way to use is teacher modeling as a guide to show what he/she find in different part of this institute. It could be followed with questions for students' critical thinking with increase their awareness of using technology to help build on their academic learning.

Chapter 5 is focusing on information collecting through search engines. It also refers to an important part when teacher and students are using them, they should be aware of whether online resource is credible. The aim of using search engines is to help people conduct useful online information effectively. It is an essential digital literacy skill for students, as well as teachers. Search engines do really changes our learning style, which are no rely on library, books, or notes collects by partial group of people. People would able to use search engines to find everything they want, so it becomes a “big web” for every internet user. It also changes teaching methods when teacher can integrating technology into classroom, especially teach students how to collect information by themselves. Not surprisingly, Google is my first choice when I want to do some search, however, there are also many search engines are available for us. Once when teacher teaches students search helpful information by using key words, then students should be caution of pop up words selecting. And it’s teacher’s responsibility to remind our kids to justify those information is credible, or not.
Chapter 6 introduces various sources on the internet for students to learn and apply. The educational website and different apps would make difference for student’s learning process. They are widely used in multiple classrooms nowadays. Interactive videoconferencing provides a way for people who unable to visit. It’s easy, fast and safe for students to use. It helps students to talk with someone who could not show up, and it will not only be in classroom, and it can be used wherever if there are two available computers. A class will turn to be electronically. For most of circumstances, students and teachers will be benefit from this kind of long distance learning and teaching, especially, for those special-aid students, I think. Additionally, webquests, educational websites and various internet-based tools can be applied in classroom.
Questions:
As we all know when teacher integrating technology in classroom, it would be challenge for them to control students, so what can you do to help your students get involve with academic learning purpose? And what are your strategies? Why do you think that are useful?
